{Tying the Knot! Kraig & Amanda}

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to witness and photograph the wedding of Kraig and Amanda!  They are such a fun couple to photograph!  Their wedding was put together with the help of their closest friends and family, and was completely original, beautiful and had such wonderful personal touches!
I hope that you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

 Every woman has to find those PERFECT shoes to go with her dress... these boots ROCK!
 The maid of honor (Amanda's sister) lacing up the back of the gown. Isn't it beautiful?
 Making vows and exchanging rings!
 The first kiss as husband and wife.  It is official!
 The fun married couple!  This tractor pulled a wagon with the wedding party from the ceremony to the reception, it was pretty neat!
 The men of the wedding party.  Some pretty cool guys!
 The men... urinating in public?!  (This is a set up, totally their idea!)
 Jump shot!  Look at how high the groom can jump! Amazing!
 The ladies of the wedding party with their beautiful bouquets!
 The ladies, each with their own unique taste in shoes! Originality at it's best!
 The dashing wedding party!

 Bride and Groom!

 The beautiful rings set in the Brides bouquet.
 The bride added a sweet touch to the bottom of her boots, she wrote "I Do!"
 Cutting the cake together.
 The first dance!
What a sweet couple!  You can see the love in their eyes that they have for each other!  I send best wishes and blessings for a long and happy marriage!  Thank you for having me join you in your special day!
And as always, thanks for reading!

{Lil Miss S} 2 Months old!

Today, I had a friend bring her little 2 month old daughter over for some pictures!  She is such a happy little girl, and was a ton of fun to work with!  There was some looks of concern that she had given me... she was not too sure about all the lights and my flash!  The smiles did come when her Mommy was talking about her big sister!
We started with a little idea that I had, including an antique washboard that I found at a rummage sale!

 She was playing with her hands, and eating them, almost the whole time! :)

 Such a beautiful smile, it warms my heart!
 Big, Beautiful eyes!
Thank you for coming by!  It was great to finally meet this little diva!
And, as always... Thanks for reading! :)

{Teddy Bear Picnic}

This past Saturday was the Teddy Bear Picnic!  I have been gearing up for this event ALL summer, and it came and went so fast!  I had 5 little girls join me on site, and 1 little boy who did his separately.  It was a great time, and the little ones did fantastic.  We did some shots indoors, to get away from the heat and bugs, and some outdoors to include the greenery and beautiful morning sky.
Check them out!

These are just a small glimpse at what we accomplished Saturday morning!  They were wonderful, and let me capture some great pictures.  My favorite is the Watermelon eating twin, what is yours?
Thanks for all of your continued support in my dream!

{Baby "B"} Adventures in Newborn Photography

Recently I had posted a special on Newborn Photography, $25 (for printing rights to all images on CD) to let me practice this art on your newborn.  I had a session yesterday with little "B", a 2 week old handsome bundle of joy.  I was successful in getting some great images... after 3 hours, lots of cuddles and 3 nursing breaks.  Anyone who says that newborn photography is easy IS LYING!  This is an art that takes A LOT of patience, a QUIET room (without my 3 and 5 year old present lol) and careful movements.  Props to all the talented newborn photographers out there!
Here are some of the (200) images that I snapped yesterday, I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do!

One challenge that I have to beat is how in the world to keep a sleeping baby ASLEEP! I have ideas flooding my brain with different poses and props.. to use ideally with a sleeping little one.  I have a lot of work yet to master this new to me art, and have two more slots open for newborns!  I hope that within these photo shoots I can learn more, and get the images that I dream of!
If you or someone you know would be interested in partaking this adventure with me, please email me at gratefulmemoriesphotography@gmail.com!
Thanks for stopping by to read!
