The "D" Family

This weekend I had the pleasure of not only photographing an amazing family, but also taking part in a heartwarming tribute to a late husband/father/grandfather for Father's Day.  The session began at their new home, where we had a chance to get to know one another and play in the yard. Here are a couple of pictures that we captured in front of their new home.

After a little bit of playing and some fun photos of playing in the playhouse and on the swing set, we headed to a local park to release balloons in memory of their late husband/father/grandfather for Father's Day. It was incredible to take part in and document this moment for this family.

We all watched the balloons until they could not be seen anymore, telling the children that Dad/Grandpa has them now, and loves them (especially since they are his favorite color!).
At this point, we walked around the park and captured more special moments.

We all enjoyed each others company, as well as the sun on a beautiful day in the park.  I want to thank the D Family for inviting me to photograph them and their special tribute to their loved one.  I loved the opportunity to help make these memories last for you!

Never let a day go by without making some sort of memory!

Thank you for reading, and for all who support me in my dream!
